Recent Projects
Below you will find a variety of projects I have done that range from Email Marketing to a full mock Travel Site. All projects were created from the ground up using no templates.
Email Recreations
1:1 recreations of emails I have received from various marketing companies. All emails were built from the ground up without any templates.
All projects are for demonstration and educational purposes only and are not for commerical use.
School Final Project
Iceland Summers
Fully responsive mock Travel Site consisting of seven pages.
Our final project was to create a multipage website from a variety of topics. One of those topics was to create a site for a country that would be nice to visit in the summer. I created a mock Travel Site for travelers looking to visit Iceland in the summer. I used this opportunity to apply the skills I learned and gained invaluable experience.

Redesigned Homepages
While reading about "bad website design," I came across the article Bad Websites - The 40 Worst Websites on the Web by Thomas Digital.
I thought that it would be interesting and great practice to try and redesign a couple of these website's Homepages with a bit of TLC. Below, you will find redesigned Homepages of websites which were originally deemed some of the worst websites online.
Author Suzanne Collins
Fully responsive website for author Suzanne Collins. A world-renowned author deserves more than this basic and poorly designed website. It looks as though the designer used a basic WordPress template without any themes and added no design elements. The UI/UX is confusing and overloaded with unnecessary quotes and accolades.
I modernized the site keeping it as simple as possible while showcasing her works, which is what most visitors would be looking for. I minimized space by using modals to describe each book with a link for purchasing the book at the bottom, which oddly enough, her original website has no option for.

Craigslist
Part of Craigslist's charm is that it is amazingly bland and could easily have come from the late 90s. So how do you redesign such a website without taking away its rustic charm?
The first thing I did was reorganize everything. The original UI was confusing and lacked any semblance of organization for the user experience. First I reorganized the core sections then further organized each section by most used.
After reorganizing the main sections I redesigned the sidebars to ensure that users have easy access to their Accounts and posting new links. I also toned down the blue and grays, making the text easier to read.
Note: This is currently non-responsive and best viewed with a minimum width of 1400px.
